Ces pages ont pour seule ambition de répertorier un maximum d’oeuvres d’Eugene Grasset, artiste majeur de la fin du XIXeme siècle qui fut précurseur, avec Mucha, de l’Art Nouveau en France et qui maintenant est largement tombé dans l’oubli. Sa création emblématique du logotype de «la Semeuse soufflant une fleur de pissenlit» du dictionnaire Larousse étant la seule creation encore connue aujourd’hui du grand public.

The sole ambition of these pages, is to create the largest catalogue of Eugene Grasset’s work. This major artist of the late 19th century, who has been, with Mucha, the forerunner of the Art Nouveau in France, is now almost totally fallen into oblivion. The emblematic logo for the Larousse dictionary - a «lady sower» spreading to the wind a dandelion’s seeds as being the seeds of knowledge - is nowadays, almost the only well known item of all his creative work
